We are seeking experienced permanent part-time carers who share our philosophy to join our innovative and dynamic team at our newly built, state-of-the-art home, The Queenslea, Claremont. Morning, Afternoon, and Night shifts are available.

About the role

• Provision of high-quality care and support for residents at The Queenslea
• Supporting residents to live their lives their way
• Working as part of a dynamic team
• Making each day meaningful for our residents
• Flexibility to work varied shifts across a seven-day roster
• Completing documentation according to Oryx Communities policies and procedures
• Interacting with residents and their families in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
• Loading applicable for overnight shifts
• Additional training opportunities

Skills and experience

• Qualified with a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or higher
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a carer in Aged Care
• Understanding of quality care and customer service principles
• Knowledge of aged care standards and accreditation processes
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new technology

Requirements for the Role

• National Police Check valid within the last 3 months
• Full working rights in Australia without restrictions
