Nestled within the enchanting National Trust Gardens near Hereford, the Weir Nursing Home was built in 1785 as a Georgian mansion. The home offers breathtaking views across the serene River Wye and the striking Black Mountains, creating a tranquil retreat for our residents. Our home focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents and their families feel supported and respected.

The Role

We are seeking kind and compassionate Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. You will support residents with daily living activities, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support to residents in line with individual care plans.
• Assist with meals and fluids, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers as per their care plan.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement to promote wellbeing.
• Ensure residents’ privacy, dignity, and respect are upheld at all times.
