Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia seeks dependable caregivers to provide compassionate home care to seniors. You will join a team offering 12-hour shifts, with full-time and part-time opportunities and biweekly pay.

Your role includes companionship, assistance with daily activities, and adherence to care plans, with mileage reimbursement and shift differentials for weekends and certain cases. All applicants must provide vaccination proof.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of paid, professional caregiving experience through an agency.
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts.
• A compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for applicable cases.
• Ability to meet onboarding and TB testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
• Follow care plans and communicate changes in a client’s condition to the office.
