Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia is seeking dependable caregivers to provide compassionate home care to seniors on 12-hour shifts, helping maintain comfort, dignity, and independence in the home.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, mobility, and light housekeeping while following individualized care plans. A minimum of 2 years of paid caregiving experience and a valid driver’s license are required; vaccination proof is mandatory.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of paid caregiving experience through an agency.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable and responsible attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Follow care plans and communicate any changes in a client's condition to the office

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of paid, professional caregiving experience through an agency
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts
• A compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for applicable cases
• Ability to meet our onboarding and TB testing requirements
