Job summary

Right at Home is seeking caregivers in Omaha, NE to provide hands-on home care. Open positions include CNAs and CMAs with an emphasis on compassionate, reliable support for clients in need. No travel outside client homes required; training is provided and weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have prior caregiving experience with hands on cares.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living as described (transfers/moves around their home).
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuum, dust, sweep/mop, dishes, laundry, bathroom).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing, dressing, shaving assistance; medication reminders.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and dementia care.
• Provide companionship through activities like reading, music, puzzles.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
