Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home care in the Kittanning area. The role emphasizes building meaningful connections with clients and offers a consistent weekday morning schedule, with afternoon shifts starting at 12:00 PM.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 months of caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass TB screening. Training and employee benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required).
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required).
• Must be at least 18 years old (Required).
• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test (Required).
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns.
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
