Job summary

Right at Home Austin West is seeking compassionate caregivers in Austin, TX to work in a supportive, healthy environment with competitive pay. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1pm–5pm. Base pay: $15/hour.

Must have strong work ethics and a can-do attitude. Prior caregiving experience preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include personal assistance, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation (DL required), and reporting to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance and health-related services in clients' homes.
• Provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Work cooperatively with the patient/client and family.
• Report observations and problems to the Supervisor.
• Provide companionship to client.
• Prepare meals as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide transportation. (Valid DL required)
• Promote respectful communication with patient, family and staff.
• Maintain an environment that respects patient privacy and property.
• Demonstrate time management skills.
• Report unsafe conditions to agency management.
• Attend required in-services and pursue professional growth.
• Support the Right at Home philosophy and policies.

Base pay: $15 an hour
