Job summary

Right at Home San Marcos is seeking caring Caregivers in Buda, TX and surrounding areas to work in San Marcos, Kyle, Buda, Luling, Lockhart, Wimberley, Woodcreek, Driftwood, Fentress and nearby communities with a supportive home-care environment.

We offer flexible schedules (part-time or full-time), competitive pay weekly, direct deposit, TapCheck, referral program, and free hands-on training. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred to reach clients.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive to client locations (up to 30 minutes).
• Strong communication and compassionate care.
• Willing to perform in-home care tasks and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Light housekeeping tasks in clients' homes.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming as needed.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments when required.
• Support respectful communication with clients and family.

Schedule: Part time or Full time! (Flexible schedules)

Base pay: $15 to $18 an hour

Special requirements: Willing to drive at least 30 minutes to arrive client’s location!

A Caregiver duties:

• Provide companionship to client.
• Provide preparation of meals.
• Light housekeeping.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide transportation. (Valid DL required)
• Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.
• Provide an environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy and property.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills.
• Report unsafe conditions, problems and observations supervisor.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency through attending required in-services.
• Promote the Right at Home philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
