Job Title: Chief Happiness Officer (aka Caregiver)

Location: Clients’ homes.

Pay: 4–12 hour shifts: $16.00 per hour. Pay differential for short shifts (2–3 hours). Multiple ways to advance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Provide companionship, listening ear, and emotional support.
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Prepare meals and run errands as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain a positive, humorous atmosphere.
• Document care activities accurately.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; willing to drive up to 30 minutes to clients.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy and active listening.
• Understanding of end‑of‑life care and related challenges.
• Ability to create memorable moments and use humor appropriately.
• Experience as a State Tested Nursing Aide, Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, nursing student, retired nurse, or similar; or genuine desire to become a professional caregiver.
