Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is urgently seeking Home Health Aides to support clients in their homes. The 40-hour training program is provided by BAYADA, preparing you to deliver high-quality care in Assistive Care State Programs. Weekly pay and flexible scheduling help you balance life and work.

Qualifications

• Provide direct care to clients in home settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Follow care plans and report changes to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Perform light housekeeping and home management tasks.
• Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Monitor health status and document observations.
• Assist with transfers using lifting devices if needed.
• Support medication administration as directed.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to clients and families.

BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a forty (40) hour FREE training program incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for a Home Health Aide/ HHA. Graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice.

Qualifications for Direct Care Workers, DCW:

• Successfully complete 40 Hour Home Health Aide Training Class, provided by BAYADA

Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers, DCW:

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
