Job summary

Cambridge Caregivers in Denton, TX is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support clients on 12‑hour shifts, Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the local area. As a caregiver you will assist with daily activities and medication reminders, helping to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

We offer competitive pay of 15.00 USD per hour, flexible scheduling, ongoing training, health and retirement benefits, mileage reimbursement and a supportive environment with opportunities

Qualifications

• Direct support experience in care giving or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of resident rights and advocating for clients.
• Proficient in medication reminders and adherence to schedules.
• Ability to provide specialized care for dementia or memory impairments.
• Strong understanding of ADLs and assisting clients accordingly.
• First aid certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and care including personal hygiene, meals, and med administration.
• Assist with light housekeeping and organizing living spaces.
• Specialize in geriatric care and appropriate client support.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support individuals with varying needs and provide guidance.

Duties

• Provide direct support and care to individuals, including personal hygiene assistance, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing living spaces.
• Specialize in providing care and appropriate support to individuals with Geriatric patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. -
• Work with individuals that have various needs, providing support and guidance.
