Job summary

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors in New Salem, MA and surrounding communities. Whether you are an experienced PCA, HHA, CNA, or Homemaker, or starting a rewarding career in caregiving, this is a chance to make a real difference while fitting your life.

Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Experience in home care is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to complete free training offered to qualified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals based on client preferences and dietary needs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Run essential errands and grocery shopping; provide medication reminders.

As an in home caregiver, you will help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Your care can provide companionship, dignity, encouragement, and peace of mind to the people who depend on you.

Your Responsibilities May Include

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Preparing meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
• Helping with light housekeeping and laundry

• Observing clients and reporting changes to the appropriate supervisor
• Helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home
• Providing respectful, dependable, and compassionate care
