We are hiring PCA/Home Health Aides/Caregivers to work one-on-one with our in-home patients in the Torrington, CT area. VA cases available!

• 1:1 Patient Care
• Earn PTO while working 32+ hours
• Weekly pay & flexible scheduling
• Starting pay rate: $16.35 per hour

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfers between bed, chair, wheelchair, and toilet.
• Assist with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

• Experience in home care preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet patient needs.
• Ability to work effectively in any home situation regardless of patient demographics.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
