Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Report observations of the client’s condition to the agency director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of any incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
• Assist with household tasks essential to clients’ personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Experience in home care preferred.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patients’ needs.
• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, sex, disability, or financial condition.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
