We are hiring Caregivers/HHA/PCAs to work one-on-one with our in-home patients in Middletown, CT and surrounding areas.

  • 1:1 patient care

  • Starting pay rate: $16.35 per hour

Job Summary:

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions to enable individuals to remain in their homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of incidents or accidents.
  • Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when required.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
  • Assist with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.

Experience Desired:

  • Experience in home care preferred.

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs.
  • Ability to work in diverse home situations regardless of patient background.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
