Job summary

Caring Senior Service in Merkel, TX is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide heartfelt, personalized care to seniors in-person.

As a caregiver, you will assist with daily routines, dementia and memory care support, safe transfers using mobility equipment, transportation to local outings and appointments, and keeping health records up to date in our simple system.

Experience in home care or long-term care is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required to support clients in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care settings.
• Strong communication skills and a heart for service.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and transferring safely.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships while helping with daily routines such as dressing, meals, and hygiene.
• Provide compassionate dementia and memory care support.
• Assist with safe transfers using mobility equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Transport clients to local outings and appointments.
• Keep health records updated using our simple electronic system.

Pay: $13.00–$15.00/hour
Location: Merkel, TX – In-person
Schedule:

• Saturday: 9:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM
