Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - South Windsor is seeking an immediate caregiver for an elderly client in Vernon, CT. Duties include diaper changes, sponge baths, medication reminders, laundry, meal prep and light housekeeping during daytime hours.

The role focuses on companionship, social interaction, and helping clients live safely at home, with a commitment to respectful, dignified care and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• State regulated minimum requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
