Right at Home Southern Arizona is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support seniors at home. The role includes personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and safely assisting with daily activities.

You will accompany clients to appointments and help maintain independence in familiar surroundings.

Caregiver Responsibilities and Duties

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (ADL's):

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Eating
• Dressing/Grooming
• Prepares meals and snacks
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Light Housekeeping

Performs client-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home Care Manager or Nurse:

• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Measuring and preparing special diets
• Understanding dementia care
• Incontinence care

Caregiver Qualifications and Skills:

• Compassion and concern for older adults!
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have your own insured automobile
