Job summary

FirstLight Home Care - Eastern KY is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) to serve as a Caregiver Training Specialist. This office-based role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and provides hands-on training and guidance to caregivers.

The primary purpose is to ensure caregivers are prepared to perform daily duties and provide safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA/SRNA certification in good standing.
• Direct client care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and supervise caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training to new and existing caregivers on essential client-care responsibilities.
• Demonstrate proper techniques for assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Train caregivers on safe and appropriate client-care practices and provide feedback.
• Maintain documentation of training, competency demonstrations, and education.
