Job summary

Graceful Aging Home Care is seeking a Caregiver Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight for caregivers in client homes. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, training staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a CNA certification, and at least 5 years of experience in home care, as well as supervisory experience. This position offers comprehensive health benefits and paid holidays.

Job description

Caregiver supervisors provide services to individuals in their own homes, who need assistance caring for themselves because of old age, sickness, disability and/or other afflictions. In addition, supervisors oversee other caregivers and are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with Graceful Aging Home Care’s policies and industry standards. Job Duties

• Ensure agency polices/procedures and industry standards/regulations are followed.
• Assist with scheduling.
• Conduct new client assessments.
• Train newly hired staff.
• Conduct caregiver performance reviews.
• Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new caregivers.
• Provide leadership to caregivers.
• Help resolve caregivers concerns and issues.
• Cover client hours as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge

• Knowledge of managing employees.
• Knowledge of personal care and home management skills.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal care services, including needs determinants, meeting quality standards and evaluation of client satisfaction.
• Knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures such as maintaining records and completing forms.
