Job summary

Legacy Home Care is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for part-time daytime hours to perform home care visits and provide living assistance in Assisted Living Communities around the Greater Minneapolis area.

The role involves helping residents with daily activities, building rapport, and collaborating with healthcare colleagues. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, with travel up to 35 miles from home.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Home Care; CNA certification is a plus.
• Ability to pass a Nursing Assistant knowledge quiz.
• Reliable vehicle and ability to travel up to 35 miles from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, living assistance, and companionship to residents.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, eating, bathing, and socializing.
• Help residents with transfers, therapeutic exercises, and household services.
• Build strong rapport with residents and work alongside other healthcare professionals.
