Job summary

Legacy Home Care is seeking a caregiver to perform home care visits and provide companionship in Assisted Living Communities around the Greater Minneapolis area. This part-time role offers flexible days and the chance to build meaningful relationships with residents while contributing to their daily living activities.

You will assist with ADLs, transfers, and light household tasks, working with a team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Home Care (CNA certification is a plus).
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a Nursing Assistant knowledge quiz.
• Reliable vehicle and ability to travel up to 35 miles from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, living assistance, and companionship to residents.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, eating, bathing, and socializing.
• Help residents with transfers, therapeutic exercises, and household services.
• Build strong rapport with residents and work alongside other healthcare professionals.
