River Oaks Homecare is hiring dedicated Caregivers for a brand-new residential home in Norristown, PA. We offer pay at $15.00 per hour, same-day pay, and free medical and life insurance, with additional optional insurance plans.

Shifts include 6-hour daily, 8-hour, and 12-hour options to fit a stable routine. Responsibilities include personal care, sensory-friendly routines, health advocacy, meal prep, light housekeeping, and community participation.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (we can help you get it).
• Experience in caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential preferred.
• Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity are always a priority.
• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs, ensuring a calm and structured living space.
• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.
• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.
• Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment to reduce overstimulation and ensure safety.
• Community & Companionship: Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction that honors each resident's unique personality. Driving the residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments
• Health Advocacy: Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes to ensure the highest quality of care.
