Part Time Caregiver/Resident Assistant - Days, Evening, or NOC Shifts Available

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing personal care and delegated health-related services to maintain residents' physical and emotional well-being. This role involves following individual service schedules and accurately documenting services provided.

The targeted pay range for this position is $18-$21 per hour. Ecumen considers various factors such as experience, qualifications, certifications, licenses, and education when determining starting pay.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director, including:
    • Dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, transferring
    • Assisting with AM and HS cares, including oral care
    • Incontinence care
    • Use of assistive devices, glasses, and hearing aids
    • Medication administration as delegated by the RN
  2. Observe, document, and report changes in residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions.
  3. Promote independence by offering choices and fostering self-help skills.
  4. Collaborate effectively with team members in a dynamic environment, supporting all within the community as directed.
  5. Complete scheduled cleaning tasks.
  6. Assist with and lead resident activities as assigned.
  7. Respond appropriately to safety hazards, call lights, requests, and reassignments.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures including HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, OSHA, and others
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience working with seniors
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Home Health Aide certification
