Position Overview:
As a Companion Caregiver at our Purcellville location, you’ll be a vital part of our clients’ care journey. You’ll work closely with families to organize and implement care plans, provide direct support with daily tasks, and serve as a compassionate, reliable presence for our clients. As the primary contact for families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, you’ll ensure that each client’s needs are met with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support for activities of daily living (ADLs) and healthcare-related tasks
• Work closely with our clinicians to align care with client therapy goals
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring excellent communication and coordination of care
• Assist with scheduling, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation needs
• Foster a supportive, client-centered experience through empathy and attention to detail

Qualifications:

Required:

• Ability to work on your feet for 4+ hours at a time
• Physical capacity to safely lift and transfer individuals up to 150 lbs
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and commitment to quality care
• Basic technology literacy to coordinate and manage scheduling

Preferred:

• Experience in caregiving for individuals with complex health needs
• Background in creating a high-touch, client-focused care experience

Training & Onboarding:

• Hands-on training with experienced caregivers to learn client routines and care requirements
• Ongoing training for clients under Full Distance clinicians’ care, with updates based on therapy goals

Working Environment:

• 95% direct client care or coordination in the field serving Loudoun County, VA
• Occasional local marketing or promotional events in Purcellville as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25 lbs+
• Flexibility to assist with light housekeeping and errands
