Caregiver PT/FT N.Austin/Cedar Park area - Mon-Fri 8:30am-1:30pm

Join our team at Home Helpers Home Care, where we value meaningful work and work/life balance. We are hiring immediately for compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home companion care and daily living assistance to the elderly and those requiring recuperative or ongoing care.

Currently, we are seeking a female caregiver for a client in North Austin (Allendale area), with a temporary shift in Cedar Park. Responsibilities include driving the client to dialysis three times a week, radiation/chemo once a week, and providing personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship. The shift is from 8:30 to 1:30 with some flexibility, and additional shifts may be available.

Caregiver Responsibilities
  • Light housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, surface cleaning)
  • Meal preparation
  • Assisting with personal hygiene
  • Medicine reminders
  • Transportation to appointments
  • Developing and maintaining care plans
  • Providing companionship
  • Assisting with physical therapy and activity
Requirements
  • Clean background check
  • Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
  • Smartphone with texting and email access
  • Understanding of client confidentiality
  • Punctuality for shifts
  • Willingness to complete all employment verification requirements (DL, SS card, or US passport)
