LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF ONE PERSON

This is a very part time role - 2-4 hours in the afternoon 3 days a week to help with showering for a disabled woman (6 to 8 hours/week)

Job Summary: The Caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene. Caregivers typically work with elderly or disabled individuals in a facility or home care setting.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication and supplements
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility (doctor’s appointments,walks etc.)
  • Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and toileting
  • Help clients complete physical therapy and otherrecommended exercises
  • Shopping trips
  • Light housekeeping duties, meal prep
  • Collect information about conditions and treatmentplans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and familymembers
  • Report any unusual incidents
  • Abilityto act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

  • CNA Certifications
  • Previous caregiver experience preferred
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association)Certification
  • Adherence to health and safetystandards
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cookingwith attention to dietary constraints
  • Must be respectful and compassionate with a goodbedside manner
  • Outstanding communication, time managementand interpersonal skills
  • Physical endurance to complete required tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent
