Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our in-home non-medical care team in Villa Park, IL. You will support seniors with daily living activities, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, helping them stay safe and independent at home.

We offer paid training, weekly pay, flexible hours, mileage/time travel between clients, and benefits including health insurance. Full-time or part-time shifts available with a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and housekeeping.
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
• Must be able to work full-time or part-time.
• Driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Follow the Care plan.

• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full-time or part-time.
