Job summary

Right at Home Westside is seeking caring caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in the West Hollywood area. Join a fast-growing home care company with 25+ years of experience, providing PPE and training to keep clients safe.

You will perform personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship, making a real difference in clients’ daily lives while adhering to care plans and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• Home Care Aide registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living in the home.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Assist with errands and appointments.
• Provide medication reminders and range of motion support.
• Offer dementia care and companionship activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointmentsBathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
