TRAINING: New Hire Training Consists of a Required 4 Straight Day Training In Our Arden Hills Training Site (MON-THURS, 8:30am-4:30pm)
***We are seeking CAREGIVERS to join us at our Senior Living Community in Spring Lake Park, MN! Our communities have 32 beds in Memory Care + Assisted Living. If you're a CNA or experienced Caregiver, we'd love to hear from you!***
SUMMARY
Suite Living Senior Memory Care & Assisted Living provides Memory Care and Specialty Senior Services in a professionally managed and carefully designed setting. Our care team has over 20 years of experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living & Long Term Care. Individual care plans are developed to meet each resident's personal needs, and residents only pay for services they receive.
We are looking to hire professional and compassionate caregivers to join our team! The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly, and have excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform various tasks to assist clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the Dietary Manager
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Willing and able to pass medications (training provided)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Caregiver (CNA/HHA/PCA/RA/NAR)
- CNA Certification preferred but not required
- Experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care preferred
- Experience with Med Passing preferred
- Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) required
- Respectful, compassionate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
