POSITION: CAREGIVER

COMPANY: Suite Living Senior Care

LOCATION: Little Canada, MN

TYPE: Full-time Available

SHIFT(S) AVAILABLE: PM (2pm-10pm)

TRAINING: New Hire Training Consists of a Required 4 Straight Day Training In Our Arden Hills Training Site (MON-THURS, 830am-430pm)

We are seeking Caregivers to join us at our Brand New Memory Care and Senior Living Community. If you are a CNA or experienced Caregiver, we would love to hear from you. Our community has 32 beds in Memory Care and Assisted Living.

SUMMARY

Suite Living Senior Memory Care & Assisted Living provides Memory Care and Specialty Senior Services in a professionally managed and carefully designed setting. Our care team has over 20 years of experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living & Long Term Care settings. Individual care plans are developed to assure that each resident's personal needs are met and residents only pay for services they need to receive.

Suite Living Senior Care is looking to hire professional and compassionate caregivers to our team. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Help clients take prescribed medication
2. Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility
3. Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
4. Help clients with physical therapy exercises
5. Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the Dietary Manager
6. Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
7. Be a pleasant and supportive companion
8. Report any unusual incidents
9. Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be willing and able to pass medications (Training provided)
2. Minimum of a High School Diploma required
3. Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver required (CNA/HHA/PCA/RA/NAR)
4. CNA Certification preferred but not required
5. Experience in an Assisted Living/Memory Care setting highly preferred
6. Experience with Med Passing highly preferred
7. Must have excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
8. Must be respectful and compassionate and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Please note, ALL shifts (PT & FT) are required to work an e/o weekend shift.

Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this direct care position.
