At Sunrise, our Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, assist with activities of daily living, attend to individual care needs, and understand their preferences and personalities.
  • Notify management of changes in resident condition and recommend care adjustments.
  • Assist residents in life skills and enriching activities as per their profiles.
  • Participate in developing and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
  • Know the whereabouts of residents during shifts and check on them regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and promote safety and risk management policies.
  • Respond to dining needs while maintaining Sunrise hospitality standards.
  • Encourage and assist residents in life skills activities as indicated on their ISP.
  • Serve residents and guests in accordance with Principles of Service.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork skills.
  • High School diploma/GED (per state regulations).
  • Relevant certifications as required by state.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make decisions in residents' best interest.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
