Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Matamoras and surrounding communities.

You'll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you're supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home. No professional caregiving experience? That's okay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass background checks.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• No professional caregiving experience required.
• Experience as a caregiver is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
• Follow the individual's care plan.
• Document the services you provide.

What We're Looking For

You must:

• Be18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
