Salary: $18.00 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Personal Care Assistant to provide support services to assist clients with personal, physical mobility, and therapeutic care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide services to persons who need help with daily activities
• Perform healthcare tasks, personal hygiene services, and other support services essential to the client's health
• Assist with transfers and ambulation
• Perform incidental household services as part of the personal care plan
• Provide companionship through reading, listening, and talking with the client
• Assist clients in developing independent skills through self-care activities
• Report changes in client status as directed by the care plan
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• State licensure or certification as required by state and/or program
• One (1) year relevant experience preferred
• Current BLS Card
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Knowledge of child growth and development
• Ability to coordinate services between home, school, and community resources
• Strong communication skills to effectively elicit and provide information
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
