Elara Caring in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a dedicated Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients at home with bathing, grooming, mobility, meal preparation, housekeeping and companionship. You’ll help maintain dignity, safety and comfort in daily activities while delivering empathetic, patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required prior to first client contact
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable)
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client

As a Caregiver, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks

What is Required?
