Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $22.00/hr

• Starting pay is $19 - $22 / hour!
• This is a full-time position offering a flexible schedule on 1st shift (7am-3pm) OR 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)!

The Caregiver / PCA will provide assistance with daily living activities for residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia. Responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, documenting care, and transporting residents. Familiarity with Alzheimer's/Dementia and a willingness to work with the elderly are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, hygiene, toileting, bathing, eating, etc.
• Help with personal and household chores, errands, and mail delivery.
• Transport residents to meals, activities, and programs.
• Follow resident care plans diligently.
• Monitor residents for behavioral changes or reactions to medications, report and document findings.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and environment hazards.
• Follow safety policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to regulations.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Education and Certification Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Maintain continuing education credits as required by state.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain First Aid/CPR certification.
