Job summary

Elara Caring in Missouri seeks a caring Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA). You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, housekeeping, and companionship to clients at home, while following care plans and safety guidelines.

We offer a competitive hourly range of $15.25 to $17.75, a $250 sign-on after 150 hours and 90 days, daily pay options, and training to support your growth. Join a supportive team making a tangible difference every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable).
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
