Job summary

Elara Caring is hiring a Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients in their own homes. The role involves compassionate, patient caregiving with a focus on dignity and independence.

You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companion support in a home environment. Typical duties include meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation to appointments when applicable.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate, patient, dependable caregiving to clients in home settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and families.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable)
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client

What is Required?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal experience)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
