Summary

We are hiring Certified PCA and HHA Caregivers to work 1:1 patient care in their homes in the Newburgh, NY area. We offer a variety of hours, benefits, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Starting pay rate: $18.10 per hour

Responsibilities

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, personal hygiene assistance, and household support to help individuals remain in their homes.

• Report observations of client conditions and incidents to the Agency Director or manager.
• Drive safely, follow traffic laws, and wear a seatbelt when traveling for work.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, hair care, dental care, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting assistance.
• Help with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• PCA or HHA certification in NY required.

Skills Required

• Flexible hours to meet patient needs.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to any home situation.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
