Job summary

Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking empathetic Care Assistants to support aging clients in their own homes in Massachusetts. You will provide personal care, companionship, and practical support to help clients stay safe and independent.

We offer flexible schedules including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays and weekends, with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Bi-weekly pay, benefits and certification opportunities are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or caregiving preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols.
• Comfort with assisting daily living activities.
• Reliable transportation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance and companionship.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Meal planning and preparation for clients.
• Medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
• Light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean home.
• Transportation to appointments and errands as needed.
• Support mobility and home safety to prevent falls.
• Document care actions and report changes to family/caregivers.
• Build trusting relationships and respect client independence.
