Job summary

The Ashford of Beavercreek in Beavercreek, OH is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct resident care and support for daily living activities. The role offers full-time hours with a pay rate of $18/hour plus shift differential and comprehensive benefits through Wallick Communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification; Nurse Aide certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus.
• Organized and self-motivated to serve residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal care and daily services to residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and related tasks.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist residents and families as needed.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and social engagement.
• Assist residents to and from activities and dining areas within the community.
• Assist with lifting, turning, and repositioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Our exceptional PCAsprovide direct resident care and strive to give our residents worth and meaning byhelpingthem thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose.You will work as part of a team that ensures the residents have a comfortable and safe place to call Home.

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming to include bathing and toileting.
• Answers call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s and / or family needs.
• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
• Assists residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Organized and self‑motivated to do a great job for our residents
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communicat ion skills to interact with co‑workers, residents, family members and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus
