Job summary

Act for Health, Inc is seeking Personal Care Attendants in Colorado to provide in-home healthcare services. This role allows you to create your own schedule and work part-time or PRN, serving veterans and other clients.

The compensation is $19.00–$21.50 per hour with benefits including medical and dental options.

Personal Care Attendant – Job Overview

Professional Case Management is hiring Personal Care Attendants in Colorado. You can create your own schedule, work part‑time or PRN, and provide in‑home healthcare services to veterans and other clients.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care prepared by the supervising Registered Nurse and encourage clients to be as independent as possible while maintaining confidentiality and dignity.
• Assist clients with non‑skilled personal care, including bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, mouth care, shaving, dressing, feeding, ambulation, exercise, transfers, positioning, medication reminders, respiratory care, homemaking and respite care.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, dishwashing, bedmaking, laundry, attending medical appointments, and shopping.
• Follow emergency procedures, report any accident, injury or significant change in the client’s condition to the RN promptly and safely.

Qualifications

• Emotional and cognitive maturity to maintain a good working relationship with the client, family, and agency personnel.
• Free from health problems that could be injurious to the client, self, and coworkers.
• Must possess a 2‑step TB skin test and provide proof to Human Resources.
• Reliable transportation; licensed driver with automobile insurance as required and vehicle in good repair.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred). Neat, clean personal appearance.

Essential Functions

Encourage clients to be as independent as possible while ensuring client confidentiality and dignity.

Compensation and Benefits

Standard rate: $19.00–$21.50 per hour. Benefit packages include medical, dental, vision, Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account options.
