Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with non-skilled personal care (bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, mouth care, shaving, dressing, feeding, ambulation, exercise, transfers, positioning, medication reminders, respiratory care, homemaking, and respite care).
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks (light housekeeping, meal preparation, dishwashing, bed making, laundry, shopping).
• Follow plan of care prepared by the supervising RN and encourage client independence while protecting confidentiality and dignity.
• Follow emergency procedures and report incidents to the RN immediately.
