Job summary

Right at Home Southeast South Dakota is seeking Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support clients in Mitchell and surrounding areas. Immediate openings available with flexible schedules and ongoing training.

As a caregiver you will assist with daily living tasks, monitor health needs, and provide companionship in a supportive home-care setting. We offer weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within our franchise network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA/Home Health Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home.
• Medication reminders.
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
