Job summary

Madison Pointe Senior Living in Alabama is seeking a Caregiver Part Time 1st shift (7a-3p) every other weekend to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families, and our community.

The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health, while encouraging independence and preserving resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering direct care is preferred.
• CPR certification is a plus.
• High standards of personal hygiene and grooming.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility and supervision.
• Support socialization, cognition, and health while preserving dignity.
• Promote independence and report changes to the team promptly.

About the Opportunity

TheCaregiversupports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

• Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
