Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking Top of the Line Caregivers/Home Health Aides to provide Private Duty In-Home Care for Clients in the Dorr and surrounding areas. Join a team that cares as much as you do, and help deliver personalized, compassionate support in clients’ homes.

Role includes assistance with bathing, transfers, ROM exercises, ADLs, light housework, and driving as needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of caregiving experience, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of caregiving or home health experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel within the service area.
• CPR certification required.
• Able to work every other weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing
• Slide board transfers
• Range of Motion exercises (approx 15 minutes)
• Commode assistance
• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
• Drive handicap van as needed (often client can drive)

• Driving Handicap van as needed, typically client can drive themself.

• High School Graduate or GED
• 1 year of caregiving or home health experience
• Able to assist clients with slide board transfers, range-of-motion exercises, bathing, and commode assistance
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to travel within the service area
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Able to work independently with integrity
• Available to work every other weekend and holiday shifts
• CPR Certified
