Job summary

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation seeks a compassionate Caregiver to support individuals with special needs during the evening shift from 5pm to 10pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The role focuses on safety, comfort, and well-being within the client’s home or care setting.

Ideal candidates bring patience, strong communication and reliability, with CPR/First Aid certification considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for individuals with special needs is preferred.
• Evening shift 5pm–10pm on Mon Tue Thu Fri Sat.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if transportation duties are required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with special needs.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment in the client’s home or care setting.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family members.
• Transport clients safely as needed (if applicable).
