Job summary

Executive Home Care of St. Louis in St. Ann is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide companionship, light meal prep, light housekeeping, and occasional transportation to appointments and grocery store visits.

This role offers 12-20 hours per week with a minimum of 4 hours per day, supporting individuals in need within a home-based setting. You will perform ADLs, assist with medications, plan meals, and engage clients in meaningful activities while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders and support medication routines.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and social interaction, accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor health and report changes to the care team; document care provided.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
• Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
