Job summary

Flatirons Flex Care in Boulder provides one-to-one in-home care to improve quality of life through companionship and daily living assistance. The role focuses on compassionate support for a variety of clients in their homes, ensuring safety, dignity, and wellbeing.

The caregiver assists with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, mobility support, and coordination of appointments. Training and care-plan driven duties ensure tailored care and consistent, respectful service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Drive or have reliable transportation with valid car insurance.
• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant preferred but not required.
• Two forms of ID (Resident Status or US passport) and Direct Deposit form.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and interaction with clients.
• Personal care such as bathing, mouth care, nails, dressing, shaving, toileting.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Exercise assistance and range of motion support.
• Stand-by assist, transfers, and positioning.
• Medication reminders.
• Errands and accompanying clients to appointments; other duties per care plans.

As a caregiver, that will work one on one to ensure a good quality of life.

Responsibilities:

1. Companionship and Interaction with clients

2. Personal care – bathing, hair care, Mouth Care, Nail and feet care, Dressing, Shaving, Toileting

3. Meal preparation – understanding there needs Breakfast/Lunch and dinner + Feeding or assist them to eat – Encouragement

4. Light housekeeping and Laundry and garbage removal at the end of your shift 5. Exercise – Range of Motion

6. Stand-by assist, Transfer, Positioning

7. Medication Reminder

8. Errands and accompanying client to doctors appointment as needed Other duties would be listed on care plans.

Requirements:

• Must be 18yr of age or older
• Ged or High school diploma
• Reliability and punctuality
• Drive or have reliable transportation – Valid Car Insurance
