Job summary

Flat Irons Flex Care seeks compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care and companionship, helping clients with daily activities to improve quality of life.

You will support individualized care plans, assist with daily tasks, and ensure safety and wellbeing in a home setting. This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and empathetic nature.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the caregiving field.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
• Assist with medication reminders and medication management as prescribed.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and activities that encourage social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Perform light housekeeping, errands, and other supportive tasks.
• Report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator or supervisor.
